You should print this so you know what to do ... some of you forget! 1. When Credit Clean is doing your work the credit bureaus respond by sending an updated credit report. These credit reports will only go to you. The updated credit reports will come to you about once three months if you chose the Gold Monitoring Program or once every six months if you chose the Silver Monitoring Program. Credit bureaus will not send reports to anyone but you. Even though we are doing all the work for you the reports must get to our office in order for your counselor to know what is left to do and what has been deleted or changed on each credit report. This is the major responsibility of you the client. If we don't get the reports sent to us then we can't work on your credit files which delays your service. When you send reports your file is activated for more work and given to your counselor. Always send any and all communications you get from a credit bureau whether it be a credit report, form letter or other. You should also send any correspondence you receive from creditors or collection agencies that are reporting negatively on your reports. We need to see what is being done by each and every company. You don't have to send those separately you can send them each month with your credit reports. Monitoring reports means evaluating them so we cannot do that without the reports. 2. Notify us if you change addresses, phone numbers or email. This is very important since changing address could cost a month of work to be lost. Credit bureaus do not for the most part forward credit reports. The reason is that anyone could walk in and change your address at a post office. Credit reports are very sensitive items and contain a lot of your personal information. Forwarding credit reports is not something that will be done by most post offices since the credit bureaus post on the out side of the envelopes "Do Not Forward". We must get proof of your new address and send this in to the credit bureaus in order to get updated reports going to your new address. Please notify your counselor if moving is in your near future and also notify when the actual move occurs. We will then need to get PROOF OF ADDRESS from you as soon as possible. Work shouldn't be done until we have proof to send to the credit bureaus. You can get more information on what is needed to show proof of address on our website.
