Credit Report Evaluation Instructions & Information

Explanation Of What To Do When Your Counselor Sends You An Evaluation Of Your Credit Reports.  The Evaluations are done on the reports we have received to date.  If there are any missing reports then we will use the information from the reports we have to send a challenge to missing reports so there will be an updated credit report come back with the rest of your reports.

This page explains what you need to do with the evaluations you were sent by your counselor by email.  You can hit reply on the email and then fill in the information needed.  If when you hit reply on the email the information that was sent to you does not show up you will need to copy and paste the information in to the new email and then added your answers.

What are we asking you to do with the evaluations we send to you? 
Below is information explaining what we are asking you for when we send you an evaluation of your credit reports.  Please read over the information so you know what we want from you. The information you give us can help tremendously since you know more about your accounts than we do.  When we do the research it is much easier to do it with knowledge about each account we are going to be working on.  If you have any questions

Don't delay sending the evaluation back ... we can't move forward without it.

  • First and foremost tell us the status of each account account, True or False.  The account can be true and still be untrue.  What we are asking for is whether the account is yours in any way.  If the account is not yours then False would obviously be the answer.  Which ever answer you choose True or False give an explanation of why this is either true or false and any details you can think of about the account that seems unfair to you.

  • Tell us anything about the account that you feel is unfair or is not accurate about the way it is showing on your credit reports.  If you see information reporting on the account that is not accurate we need to know even if the account is yours it does not mean it can stay on your report if it is not reporting certain types of information correctly.

  • Tell us the last time you paid on this account or how old the account is since it was closed.  This is important, especially for collection accounts since the collection agencies try and report a new last date of activity. What we want is the date you actually stopped paying on the original account.

  • Give us any detail that you think would help us when we research your accounts.  You will only have to do this evaluation one time so make sure you do it correctly.  We will keep a copy of this in your file so that we can refer to it each time you work on your reports.

  • Make sure to do the evaluations as soon as you can and then FAX, Email (For those of you who are not real familiar with replies by email ... when you get the evaluation just hit reply and type in your answers where it says YOUR COMMENT.  If you don't see the evaluation when you hit reply then you will need to copy and paste the evaluation on to a new email and then type in your responses). or MAIL it back to us.  Your work cannot continue until we get the evaluation back.  If we blindly try and do the work the process could take more time than necessary.  Always make sure to send any reports or other communications from the credit bureaus or your creditors.  Credit reports activate your account for more work if we do not get the credit reports we will not find out for a couple of months that you haven't sent them also delaying your work.
