Credit Help Services by Credit Clean Credit Bureau Reports
Credit Bureau Form Letters & Information About half the people who are either working on or having someone work on their credit reports will get what's called a Form Letter. These letters are intended to stall the work, make you stop your work or even just irritate you. We have given some "ORIGINAL EXAMPLES" of these. Please take a look at them so you are not shocked when you get one. A few examples are letters that ask you to send "proof of address" "proof of social" or "proof of your name" Just for the record we do not send out anything to a credit bureau without proof enclosed this is why we ask you to go to the PROOF NEEDED page so you are sure to send what we need. There is no other reason for them to send a letter such as this unless it is to stall the work since they have everything already. We call this type of letter a stall letter and all it does is cost you time. There are many types of stall letters some asking you to prove the disputed item is wrong and so forth. The FCRA states that if an account is disputed/challenged then it is the obligation of the credit bureaus to investigate the challenged items. It is not your place to prove anything so we will handle these letters just make sure you send them to us so we know what it is they are trying to do. If you do send a response to any of these types of form letters they can add an additional 15 days to the already thirty days they have to respond. We know what to do so please just let us handle it by sending the letters. then they can add another fifteen (15) days on to the original thirty (30) days they already have to respond. These are two of the most frustration letters we get. The second type of letter is the one that they send you stating "You don't need a company to help you with your credit repair" .. Duh ... I think most people who hire a company to help them with credit repair already know they could do the work themselves, however; the phrasing of these letters lead you to believe that companies who help you with your credit are rip offs or deceptive companies just after your money. The letter, without saying it directly, seems to imply that you are being ripped off by getting help with your credit repair. This is not true if you are a client of Credit Clean. On the humor side of this, many people who are doing their own credit repair get the same letter. The best thing we can figure out about these letters is that if the credit bureaus get 50% of the population to STOP sending disputes they save a billion dollars. This is just our opinion but it seems to fit well with the situation. It's a numbers game the one who gives up first looses. We want to win and by us winning you win ... please make sure you send any of these types of letters to us too as we file a complaint with the FTC concerning this misleading information.
