Why Have A Credit Card? No matter how much we hate credit cards our society today requires us to have at least one. If you are working on getting your credit back in shape and you don't have an open credit card account it is going to be difficult to obtain a higher credit score with no revolving credit. Those with not so good credit or those wanting to establish some credit will have to go with the lower limit and higher interest rate cards but as long as you pay these cards on time you will be able to increase the limits and decrease the interest.
